Mongu Trades Training Institute is pleased to inform prospective students from Kalabo, Luena, Mitete, Mongu Central, Nalikwanda and Mongu East that applications are open for the January 2027 Intake. Eligible applicants are encouraged to consider Mongu Trades Training Institute for quality technical, vocational and skills training and to explore the opportunity of obtaining sponsorship through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Skills Bursary programme. MTTI provides an opportunity for learners to acquire practical, employable and entrepreneurial skills that can contribute to personal development, employment, self-employment and community development. How to Apply The application process should be followed in the correct order: Choose Your Programme 1) Review the programmes available at Mongu Trades Training Institute and select the course that best matches your interests, qualifications and career goals. 2) Apply Online to Mongu Trades Training Institute 3) Complete the official MTTI admission application through the Institute's website. Applicants should provide accurate personal, academic and contact information and 4) upload any documents requested during the application process. 5) Receive Your Acceptance/Admission Letter 6) Once your application has been reviewed and approved, Mongu Trades Training Institute will issue you with an official Acceptance/Admission Letter. The letter confirms that you have been offered a place to study at the Institute. 7) Apply for the CDF Skills Bursary 8) Take your MTTI Acceptance/Admission Letter, together with the other documents required by your local authority, to the Municipal or District Council responsible for your area or constituency. Obtain, complete and submit the appropriate CDF Skills Bursary Application Form in accordance with the Council's requirements. Wait for CDF Bursary Approval The relevant Council/CDF committee will assess the bursary application. Applicants should follow the instructions issued by their local authority and provide any additional information that may be requested. Complete Registration at MTTI Applicants who receive sponsorship approval should complete the required registration and enrolment procedures with Mongu Trades Training Institute before commencing studies. Important Applying for admission to MTTI and applying for a CDF bursary are two separate processes. An applicant must therefore first obtain admission to MTTI before using the issued Acceptance/Admission Letter to support a CDF Skills Bursary application. Obtaining an Acceptance Letter from MTTI does not automatically guarantee CDF sponsorship. Approval of a CDF bursary is determined by the relevant Council and CDF authorities according to their eligibility requirements, procedures and available funding.
